I watched this last night. Didnt have a clue what it was about apart from it being a horror… Wasn't expecting to see that vampire ! lol. Was a decent watch.

This movie was great, though I have to give it a 7/10. It's a short yet rocky ride that deserves to be watched at least once. Please allow me to explain the rating;
The movie overall is fantastic; no doubt about it, I greatly enjoyed it. However, there were a few key points in the story that were predictable (at least, predictable for me), but aside from that, both it and the scares were well executed. Speaking of scares, those were abundant and I was never expecting them, I was always on the edge the whole time. When it comes to what I'm good at doing (I'm a writer by trade), I feel like the dialogue was short and spaced out, but there was just enough to show the relations and personalities of the characters. I understand that dialogue can be really hard to craft sometimes, so I can't exactly fault them there, because I've gone down the same road too once. It's not a bad first time if the writer is new to scripting.

A little meanderingly slow at first but then really picked up. The ending sequence was predictable, though. Overall a pretty decent flick, worthy of your time, imo. Thank you for the freebie. 👍👍

Crap, 9 minutes in and Longmire is dead, I am leavin!!!
Pretty good vampire/weird WWII tales flick. A little disappointed we didn't get Nazi vampires but whatever. Modest budget movie that makes excellent use of a good cast and a creepy setting/atmosphere. Only complaints are the pointless death in the beginning. Not sure what purpose that served. Excuse for more gore? Didn't want the black guy to be the first to die? Also some of the set ups are weird. I thought for certain the British intelligence/antique appraiser would be the one to provide exposition on the ancient vampire tome. Missed opportunity there. Then he cuts a deal with the Germans in exchange for a rescue but instead the British show up in the end. Wut? Maybe they intercepted the communique? If so, a quick cutaway scene of the British captain stating such would've helped. Finally I thought the ending sucked. Alexander found Ms. Prescott dead on the floor so he knows damn well what her fate is. Yet he never bothers to warn the last survivor, instead encouraging him to go rescue her? Give me a break. The poor fool ends up falling for the same trick twice. It sucks when a movie has to cheat and make otherwise smart characters stupid all of a sudden in order to force their cliche bad horror ending.
Only watched to see Robert Taylor and he died in the first scene 👎
The end?… evil that never ends, she’s a vampire now. Means that the evil is only the beginning.. means part 2 of the Blood vessel..
